In 2005, Dr. Joe’s unique investing strategy attracted the attention of the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA). He served two years as an executive member of their Landlord’s Advisory Committee and has presented on DCHA’s behalf at a number of DC Council oversight hearings.
Dr.Joe is a founding member of the Homebuyers United Mentoring Program and The Real Wealth Institute. He has received numerous awards, including the prestigious “Coach of the Year” award from the Real Estate Investors Association of Washington, DC.
His latest accolade is being selected as a Nationwide HCVP (Housing Choice Voucher Program) Brand Ambassador for HUD.
